Supporting Australian Jewish communities with free Mental Health First Aid training

In the wake of the Bondi tragedy, many people across Australia are experiencing distress, with particular impacts felt within Jewish communities. It is common after traumatic events to notice fear, anxiety, heightened alertness or hyper-vigilance, or ongoing distress.

Mental Health First Aid International is offering 500 Standard and Youth MHFA training places, free of charge, to support Jewish communities in Australia throughout 2026.

INTERVENE EARLY

REDUCE STIGMA

Free training for your group or workplace

Free Mental Health First Aid training is available for groups, organisations and workplaces supporting Jewish communities across Australia.

This opportunity is for groups and workplaces looking to build mental health first aid skills among people who support Jewish communities or those impacted by the Bondi tragedy.

Two courses are available – Standard Mental Health First Aid for supporting adults, and Youth Mental Health First Aid for supporting young people. Both can be delivered in culturally safe and responsive ways, while the course content and learning outcomes remain the same.
