Canberra Times Fun Run 2025

Canberra Sunday, 2 November

Take on a fast, flat course past iconic landmarks like the Old and New Parliament Houses in your choice of four distances: the AIMS-certified Half Marathon and 10K, or the 5K and 2K Kids events.

Frankston Running Festival

Frankston Sunday, 16 November

This will be an out and back course with the start/finish line at Frankston Waterfront (Frankston Pier) to Keast Park Seaford. Get involved in the 15km, 10km, 5km or 1km Kids Race.

Portsea Twilight 2026

Portsea Saturday, 3 January

Kick off your summer in style at Portsea Twilight on 3 January 2026 – a run like no other, set against the stunning backdrop of Point Nepean National Park.

Cole Classic 2026

Manly Sunday, 1 February

Participants in the world’s biggest ocean swim, the Cole Classic, will dive into the waters off Manly for 1km, 2km, 5km, and – making its debut in 2026 – a brand-new 10km course. The event kicks off at Shelly Beach and concludes at the iconic Manly Beach, right in front of the Manly Life Saving Club.

St Lukes Run the Bridge 2026

Hobart Sunday, 15 February

Take in all the iconic sites of Hobart, on foot. The St Lukes Run The Bridge starts at Bellerive Oval, then heads along the Hobart Waterfront taking in Bellerive Quay, Kangaroo Bay, Tasman Bridge, Government House, Hobart Waterfront, Salamanca and Battery Point. Cross the glorious finish line, then turn around and take your pick of café, bar or restaurant, as you’ll be right in the middle of the Hobart scene.

Noosa Summer Swim Festival 2026

Noosa Weekend, 21-22 February 2026

The Noosa Summer Swim Festival has grown into one of Australia’s most iconic open water swimming events. Each year, more than 2,500 swimmers—accompanied by around 5,000 enthusiastic supporters—flock to Noosa for a weekend packed with sunshine, surf, and unforgettable swims.

Mooloolaba Mile Ocean Swim 2026

Mooloolaba Weekend, 21-22 March

The Mooloolaba Mile program is packed with distances from 800m – 6.0km, and based at Mooloolaba Spit where you can push your limits in a safe environment.

The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest 2026

Rottnest Island Saturday, 21 March 2026

The Mader Port to Pub with Hotel Rottnest is a quintessential West Australian sporting event in which swimmers endeavor to cross the iconic Rottnest Channel. It is one of the three prestigious swims of the Australian Triple Crown of open water swimming.

Coolangatta Weekend, 16-17 May 2026

Your Start line, Snapper Rocks, is one of the world’s most famous surf breaks. Then, your course is a straight line to Kirra Beach, passing Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta Beaches as you swim.
